You didn't have to do what you done
Taking people with you senselessly who will never again see the sun
You didn't have to do it now people wonder why
Now because of you people had to die
You didn't have to commit this violent crime
Injuring and killing people all within a short amount of time
You didn't have to traumatize others and make families mourn their dead
Now because of you tears and blood have been shed
You didn't have to steal anyone's life but you done it anyway
You didn't have to take away their choice to live without them having a say
You didn't have to commit this bloody act
You didn't have to do it and that's a fact
You didn't have to go out into the night and do this why couldn't you just stay at home in the house
You didn't have to play a sadistic game of cat and mouse
You didn't have to do what you done
You didn't have to kill injure and traumatize those affected one by one

Don't we all wish we had its answers with such ease
If only it were as simple as saying please
If only it wasn't complicated and didn't give us a tease
Don't we all wish we can breeze right on through
Don't we all wish these same things too

If only it were easy to blow away all our stress
Don't we all wish for a breeze when things are feeling hot

If only there were no fighting, death, or disease
If only everything were a breeze

We say and do things we can’t take back and we regret
And people who have hurt us do and say things we may forgive but don’t forget
Mistakes can either be repeated and we learn nothing at all
They keep getting repeated more and more and then we fall
Mistakes can also be learned from and then as a person we learn how to grow
Mistakes are part of being human and it will always show
We can make these choices with our mistakes and on what to do or say
Mistakes are always made every single day
We can either let history itself be put on repeat
And over and over again feel utter defeat
We can learn grow and not let our mistakes define who we are
We can grow wiser from them all and shine brighter than any star

You didn't stop until you were found
You kept on going with no rest or sleep

You no longer have to feel you should face life's brutal wrath

You found some grass on the other side that's greener than green

Do you sometimes feel like you’re small and weak
Do you feel you cant make a difference with your words so you just don’t speak
Do you feel you’re not important and people will look the other way
Do you ever feel you’re no longer strong every single day
Do you feel like you’re not confident enough to speak your mind
Do you feel you will always be left behind
Do you feel small and weak like a puny little bug
Do you feel you’ll break at any time like a glass coffee mug
Do you feel itty bitty and tiny
Do you feel rusty instead of shiny
Do you feel short instead of tall
Do you feel you’ll be stepped on by one and all
Do you feel like a ship in water about to sink
Do you feel this is the way you’ll always think
You can change your mind and change your outlook
You can write a new story and a whole other book
If there is someone who is making you feel crappy like this
Just offer them your ass to plant their lips to kiss
No one deserves to feel insignificant and like they don’t matter
Weakness is a feeling that makes your whole world shatter
What goes low can once again be high
You don’t have to feel weak and reach for the sky
You can pick up the pieces and pick up your self once more
You can gain the strength you’ve always been longing for
You can carry on and keep running after falling down
You can put on a smile instead of a frown
Weakness doesn’t define you or who you are
If you don’t let it belief in yourself will go far

Theyre beautiful and unique
If youre kind you dont have to be meek

You have a heart of gold sweet and pure

So any bad thoughts you have purge them now
Get rid of self hate you have somehow
Don’t feel intimidated by yourself and everyone you come across
By gaining strength your feelings of weakness are your only loss
You are big and have all the power
You stand firm high and tall as a tower
You can say whatever you want to
Don’t be afraid to be you
Go ahead and keep up with the crowd
Say your words and be loud
You’re not a bug that will be stepped on
You’re a ship that will stay afloat and sail into the dawn
People will admire and look to you for advice
This newfound strength of yours I see in you is nice
Sometimes a broken mug can be put back together
If you keep believing you can stand strong in all forms of weather
You shine brightly as the sun up above
You are not broken and you’re a strong person filled with so much love
You are confident wise and kind

None of these things you once felt are even true

How do we make things in life once again be full
How do we make things in life once again be complete and whole
When did our lives start becoming lackluster and dull
When did our lives start losing heart and soul
All of us people want to fulfill our destinies before we die
All of us people want to climb and reach the sky
All of us people want satisfaction with things we try
All of us people want to be rich with things money can't buy
We just want to be happy at the end of life's race
We just want to know where we belong and know our place
We don't want to be knocked down continuously on our face
We just want to win life's baseball game before going to home base
We look for things to fill our void
When we do find something were overjoyed
But some things we come across can make us feel we've been destroyed
But we can't be whole if were always paranoid
So how do we make our dreams come true
Those of us who don't know haven't a clue
We just sit and ask ourselves what do we do
I do know that we can't rely on wishing stars to help us make it through
Sometimes we seek life's fulfilment in the prayers that we prayed
Sometimes we seek life's fulfilment with the money we get paid
Sometimes we seek life's fulfilment with amazing sex and getting laid
But ultimately those things don't help and we end up getting played
Sometimes in order to fulfill life we have to do it on our own
Even if it means facing the world alone
There will be mistakes we make and things we wish we would have known
But we can't give up and our determination has to stay firm as stone
Just like a car we have to fill up our lives with our own kind of gas
We have to figure out how to make life full before we let it slip by and pass
The negative things that only make us empty are like a cancerous tumor taking up mass
The negative things only hurt us like broken glass
We have to stop and think about what makes us full before we can keep going
The positive things that make us feel full are a light to us always glowing
The constant need for life's fulfilment is like a river always flowing
When we finally find what makes us fulfilled we are more understanding and knowing
When we also achieve fulfillment it's like finding an old lost friend
We're ok and don't have to pretend
Because it is our life's purpose we choose to defend
It feels good to be full before life's end

I feel like i live in a zoo
It's so wild i don't know what to do
It's crazy hectic and chaotic
Everyone has lost their minds and they're all neurotic
I know I can't be the only one who feels like this
I know I also feel I live in a circus
Nothing around me is calm and tame
But it's nobody's fault and there's no one to blame
We're all like caged animals having to be stuck with nowhere to go
This is the life we've became accustomed to and know
How do we survive this and make it through
We're all living like animals in a zoo
