Did You Stop

by Trinity Rayne

Did you stop to smell the roses and look inside yourself deep within
Did you stop to self reflect your every sin deep down beneath your skin
Did you stop to realize what I'm capable of
Did you stop to realize it's me you no longer love
Did you stop to hear the words you said and what I hear in my head that continuously buzz
Did you stop to see the damaged person I once was
Did you stop for a moment to think about it all
Did you stop and think for a moment what happened when you pushed me down to fall
Did you stop what you were doing and decide you wanted to change
Did you stop all the pain and did you stop all the rain coming down over the mountain range
Did you stop the damage in its tracks before it cost everything at stake and did you stop to save the earth before its quake
Did you stop thinking of only yourself and what you only desire and did you stop to put out the flames before they got any higher
Did you stop the darkness before it took hold and did you stop the snowstorm in your heart before it turned ice cold
Did you stop being blind and see your wrongs with all your sight
Did you stop to decide to fix things and press on to fight
Only you can get out from rock bottom to reach the very top
Then you must ask yourself did I stop
