The feeling of peace
Envelopes me
As I sit on a rock
Listening to the gentle waves
Lapping against the shore
at Derwent Water
A mist covers the hills
In the distance
With a touch of sunlight
It feels mystical
Magical
So serene
I love it
My inner demons
Laid to rest
If only momentarily
To take in this moment
So natural & pure
Basking in nature
I smile
