Deafening

by Trinity Rayne

Your silent tongue hurts me and has made me feel broken The silence you give is so much louder than the words you said once spoken It is deafening to me and hurts my ears It pierces my heart and I shed thousands of tears I can no longer hear over you not saying a thing The silence hurts so much it's deafening I'm through with how you devalue and how you discard From now on I'll be cautious and keep up my guard From now on your silence won't affect me I can hear better now that I'm free The silence hurt me so much but it's no longer deafening Your silence no longer leaves a hurtful sting I can hear better and have a clear mind I can that i left you behind
